Leather Care Guide

Daily & Weekly Care

Dusting

Wipe down weekly with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to remove dust and maintain the leather's natural shine.

Positioning

Keep leather furniture away from direct heat sources (heaters, radiators) and out of direct sunlight to prevent the leather from drying out, fading, or cracking.

Conditioning

To keep the leather supple, use a high-quality leather conditioner every 6-12 months. Apply a small amount to a soft cloth, work it in gently, and buff off any excess.

Cleaning Spills & Stains

Blot Liquids Immediately

Use an absorbent cloth to blot spills immediately. Never rub, as this can spread the stain and damage the leather's surface.

General Cleaning

Use a damp (not wet) soft cloth. Wipe the surface gently and then dry immediately with another dry cloth to prevent water spots.

Sticky Marks

For stickier marks, use a mild soap solution (a drop of pH-neutral soap in warm water). Dampen a cloth with the solution, wring it out well, wipe the area, and then immediately wipe with a clean damp cloth to remove any soap residue. Allow it to air dry naturally away from heat.

What to Avoid

Harmful Products

Avoid harsh chemicals, solvents, ammonia, bleach, or silicone-based polishes, as they can damage the leather's protective top coat and cause permanent discoloration.

Heat & Sun Exposure

Prolonged exposure to direct heat or sunlight can cause leather to crack, fade, and become brittle over time.

Excessive Moisture

Never soak leather or allow it to remain wet, as this can cause staining, cracking, and deterioration of the material.
